PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria, including the handling of postponements, cancellations, and unlisted scores.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, Sofascore, and then a consensus of credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
  • If the match is canceled without a make-up game, the market resolves to 0-0.
  • If the actual score is not among the listed options, the market resolves to 'Any Other Score'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: The market remains open until the match is completed.
  • Data Availability: Resolution prioritizes official statistics, then Flashscore, Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting if official sources are unavailable within 2 hours of the match's conclusion.
Timing: Resolution will occur within 24 hours of the match's conclusion, or 50-50/Draw if acceptable data is unavailable within that timeframe. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Prediction market odds, like those found for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the incentives of participants and the information incorporated into pricing. Sportsbooks set odds to ensure profitability, factoring in a margin or 'vig.' Prediction markets, conversely, are driven by individuals betting directly against each other, meaning prices more closely reflect the true perceived probability of an event. While sportsbooks may initially react to public money, prediction markets tend to converge on a more accurate assessment as more information becomes available and traders refine their beliefs. This can sometimes provide an edge for informed participants.
