In the upcoming match between Real Racing Club and Real Madrid CF, scheduled for November 1, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "Real Racing Club" if Real Racing Club are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "Real Madrid CF" if Real Madrid CF are the first to score in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the first half (first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time), this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time. Second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook is undervaluing a particular outcome, they can express that view by trading on Polymarket. This can lead to odds discrepancies, where the implied probability on this market differs from what’s offered elsewhere. It's a way to gauge the 'true' probability as perceived by a diverse group of participants.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in whether Real Madrid or Racing Club will score first in the first half. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'Yes' share (Real Madrid scores first) or a 'No' share (Racing Club scores first) directly indicates the market’s assessment of that outcome’s likelihood. The market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions are incorporated by traders.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team—Real Racing Club or Real Madrid CF—scores the first goal during the first half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly to those who correctly predicted which team would score first.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, particularly to key offensive players for either Real Madrid or Racing Club, would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, which could affect the style of play, or even pre-match tactical announcements from the managers could also move the market. Unexpected lineup changes or reports of internal team issues could also cause traders to reassess their positions, leading to fluctuations in share prices on Polymarket.
