In the upcoming La Liga game between Real Racing Club and RCD Espanyol de Barcelona, scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Real Racing Club vs. RCD Espanyol de Barcelona match originally scheduled for October 24, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular first half score is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will shift accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, especially when information is incomplete or subjective, but it's important to note that both represent probabilities of the same event.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official first half score reported by the governing football league. The exact score at the end of the first half of play will determine the winning outcome on Polymarket. Any delays or postponements to the match may affect the resolution timeline, but the outcome will always be based on the official result as determined by the league.
Several factors could influence this market before the end of the first half. Any news regarding team lineups, injuries to key players for either Real Racing Club or Espanyol, or even changes in weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected early goals or red cards during the first half would also have a significant impact, as would any in-game tactical adjustments. Furthermore, public perception and analysis from sports commentators could sway the market, causing prices to fluctuate as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
