Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi use identical resolution logic: the market resolves based on the official match outcome (win, loss, or draw) after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 23, 2026, with consistent handling of postponements and cancellations.
Primary resolution logic:
Official La Liga statistics as recognized by the governing body or event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
Real Oviedo win market resolves YES if and only if Real Oviedo wins the match within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Villarreal CF win market resolves YES if and only if Villarreal CF wins the match within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Draw market resolves YES if and only if the match ends in a draw within 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
Exactly one of the three markets will resolve YES; the other two resolve NO.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, the draw market resolves YES and the win markets resolve NO.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the draw market resolves YES and both win markets resolve NO.
Resolution Source Hierarchy: Primary source is official La Liga statistics; if not published within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus becomes the resolution source.
Scope Limitation: Resolution is based only on the outcome within 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time; extra time and penalties are excluded.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official announcement of the match result by La Liga or credible reporting consensus within 2 hours of match conclusion on April 23, 2026.
