Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Polymarket and Kalshi both resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 7, 2026, with identical scope and primary source (UEFA/governing body official statistics).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from UEFA or the governing body/event organizers; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus may be used.
Core resolution logic:
The match outcome is determined solely by the result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time (no extra time or penalties).
Polymarket offers three binary markets (Bayern win, Real Madrid win, draw) that are mutually exclusive; exactly one resolves YES.
Kalshi offers a single market that resolves YES for any outcome (Bayern win, Real Madrid win, or draw).
If the match is postponed, both platforms keep markets open until completion.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Polymarket's Bayern and Real Madrid markets resolve NO, and the draw market resolves YES; Kalshi's market resolves YES (covering all possible outcomes).
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: Both platforms remain open until the match is completed; no early resolution occurs.
Match Cancellation Without Make-up: Polymarket's Bayern and Real Madrid markets resolve NO; Polymarket's draw market resolves YES. Kalshi's market resolves YES since it covers all outcomes.
Delayed Official Statistics: If UEFA/governing body does not publish final statistics within 2 hours of match conclusion, both platforms may use credible reporting consensus as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official match completion and publication of final statistics by UEFA or the governing body, or within 2 hours thereafter via credible reporting consensus.
