Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.

Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, aiming to profit regardless of the outcome. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders on Limitless, tends to more closely represent the true probability of an event occurring. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions emerge from a wider range of participants. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments and information access.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing the likelihood of both Real Madrid and Sevilla scoring. The price of a contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, directly reflecting the collective belief of traders. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe both teams will score, the price of the 'yes' contract increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism aims to provide a real-time assessment of the probability of this outcome, distinct from static odds offered elsewhere.

This market resolves around Oct 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will depend on whether both Real Madrid and Sevilla score at least one goal during the match. Official match data will be used to determine if both teams found the back of the net. The result will be based on the standard 90 minutes of play, plus any added time, as determined by the official match officials. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered for resolution.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 19, 2026. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Real Madrid or Sevilla would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical approaches, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements close to kickoff could also cause movement, as could any major upsets in other matches that might affect team morale or motivation. Monitoring team news and expert analysis will be crucial for understanding potential market shifts.
