Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often incorporating information and perspectives not immediately captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to odds that diverge from sportsbook offerings. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions on team form, potential injuries, or even subtle factors that influence game outcomes. It's common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks.

This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which team—Real Betis or Málaga CF—scores the first goal in the second half of the match. The result will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources. The resolution will be definitive once the official match report confirms the first goalscorer in the second half.

Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Real Betis or Málaga CF would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trading activity. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before kickoff are also common catalysts, as they can alter perceptions of each team’s scoring potential. Furthermore, any significant shifts in public sentiment or expert analysis could drive price changes.
