PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict use identical resolution criteria, focusing solely on second-half goals and employing the same fallback data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers, with fallback to Flashscore, then Sofascore, and finally a consensus of credible reporting.

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves based on the number of goals scored by each team in the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time.
  • A 'Draw' result occurs if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half.
  • If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, the market will resolve to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals Scored: If no goals are scored by either team in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution will occur within 24 hours of the conclusion of the second half of the match, or as soon as official statistics are available, whichever is later. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.
