In the upcoming match between RCD Espanyol de Barcelona and RC Deportivo A Coruña, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at 10:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "RCD Espanyol de Barcelona" if RCD Espanyol de Barcelona are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). This market will resolve to "RC Deportivo A Coruña" if RC Deportivo A Coruña are the first to score in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time). If neither team scores in the second half (second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time), this market will resolve to "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to goals scored within the second half of regular play plus second-half stoppage time. First-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from La Liga (https://www.laliga.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows traders to express their own beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, the price in this market will adjust accordingly, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the true probability. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price will fluctuate, reflecting the collective assessment of the group. The current volume traded provides insight into the level of interest and confidence in each potential first-scorer.
This market resolves around Nov 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the second half of the Espanyol vs. Deportivo match. The platform will verify the result against official match data to determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts accordingly. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will settle.
Several factors could significantly influence the price of this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Espanyol or Deportivo would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before kickoff are also potential catalysts, as they can alter perceptions of each team’s scoring potential and drive trading activity.
