PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both Polymarket and Predict utilize identical resolution logic and source prioritization for determining the winner of the second half.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time) wins.
  • If both teams score the same number of goals in the second half, the market resolves to 'Draw'.
  • If the game is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to 'Draw'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the game is postponed, the market remains open until the game is completed.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore, then Sofascore, then a consensus of credible reporting will be used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50 or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution occurs after the completion of the second half (including stoppage time) and once official or fallback data sources have confirmed the result. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Polymarket currently favors Club Atlético de Madrid to win the second half at approximately 52%, while Predict leans toward RCD Espanyol de Barcelona. These discrepancies can arise from differing levels of expertise among traders on each platform, or simply from random fluctuations in trading activity. Additionally, the liquidity – or volume – of $59 can influence price discovery, with lower volume markets being more susceptible to price swings based on individual trades. These factors contribute to the independent price formation observed on each platform.
