Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of bettors, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the views of many individuals. Consequently, you may observe discrepancies between the implied probabilities in prediction markets and those offered by sportsbooks. These differences can arise from varying information access, biases, or simply differing opinions about the teams' strengths and weaknesses.
