In the upcoming match between RC Celta de Vigo and Real Betis Balompié, scheduled for October 25, 2026 at 11:15 AM ET: This market will resolve to "RC Celta de Vigo" if RC Celta de Vigo are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Real Betis Balompié" if Real Betis Balompié are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, but may also incorporate a margin for profit. This market, driven by actual money at stake, tends to incorporate a broader range of information and potentially more accurate probabilities as traders buy and sell contracts. While sportsbooks can be influenced by public betting patterns, prediction markets directly *are* those betting patterns, offering a potentially more efficient price discovery mechanism. It’s common to see divergences between the two, especially as the event approaches.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy 'yes' contracts (betting that Celta will score first) or 'no' contracts (betting that Betis will score first). The price of each contract represents the probability of that outcome, as perceived by the market participants. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy 'yes' contracts, the price increases, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures that the odds reflect the collective intelligence of the traders on the platform. The market depth and spread can also indicate the level of confidence in each outcome.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the outcome will be determined by which team—Celta de Vigo or Real Betis Balompié—scores the first goal in the match. If no goals are scored, the market will resolve as 'no outcome'. The resolution will be based on official match data and verified against credible public sources to ensure accuracy and fairness. Traders will be able to see the final result and the corresponding payout for their contracts after the resolution is complete.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Celta de Vigo or Real Betis Balompié would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, such as recent wins or losses, could also shift market sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even pre-match tactical announcements from the managers, could also cause the odds to move. Finally, large volume trades on Predict itself, driven by informed traders, can quickly alter the price and reflect new information or perspectives.
