PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms utilize identical resolution criteria, including the 'Any Other Score' outcome and fallback data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • Resolution is based on the score at the end of 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
  • If the match is canceled without a reschedule, the market resolves to 0-0.
  • If the actual score is not listed, the market resolves to 'Any Other Score'.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: The market remains open until the match is completed.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore, then Sofascore, then consensus reporting will be used.
  • Score Revisions: Revisions to officially declared final scores after market resolution will not be considered.
Timing: Within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, or resolves 50-50/to 'Draw' if no acceptable data is available. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect a more diverse range of information than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks primarily consider statistical models and expert opinions, while prediction markets incorporate the wisdom of the crowd, potentially capturing subtle factors or inside information not readily available to bookmakers. This can lead to differences in implied probabilities, with prediction markets sometimes offering more accurate forecasts, particularly when significant public interest exists. However, sportsbooks often offer more competitive pricing due to their ability to hedge bets and manage risk differently.

Prices on Polymarket and Predict for this market can diverge due to a number of factors. These platforms have different user bases, trading volumes, and risk appetites, all of which influence pricing. Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Furthermore, each platform may interpret information about team form, player availability, or other relevant factors slightly differently, leading to differing probabilities assigned to each possible exact score. The differing liquidity and market participation on each venue also contribute to price discrepancies, even when considering the same underlying event.

Several signals could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either RC Celta de Vigo or Juventus FC would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in team form based on recent match results, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also influence trading activity. Unexpected news related to the clubs' ownership or management could also contribute to shifts in the probabilities, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions.
