PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms use identical resolution criteria, focusing on second-half goals and a clear hierarchy of data sources.Primary resolution logic: Official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers.

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to the team scoring more goals in the second half (including stoppage time).
  • A draw is declared if both teams score the same number of goals in the second half.
  • If the match is postponed, the market remains open until completion.
  • If the match is canceled, the market resolves to a draw.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • No Goals Scored: If no goals are scored in the second half, the market resolves to a draw.
  • Data Availability: If official statistics are unavailable within 2 hours, Flashscore is used. If Flashscore is unavailable, Sofascore is used. If neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting is used. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours, the market resolves 50-50, or to 'Draw' where applicable.
Timing: Resolution occurs after the completion of the second half (including stoppage time) and when official or fallback data sources have published the final result. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Prediction market odds, as reflected in this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the wisdom of the crowd. Sportsbooks set lines based on models and internal analysis, while prediction markets aggregate the opinions of many individual bettors. However, sportsbook odds are readily available and often offer different types of wagers not found in prediction markets. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive view of potential outcomes for the Celta vs. Alavés second half.

Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract.
