Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found on this market, often reflect a different kind of information than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of many individuals, potentially offering a more accurate forecast. However, sportsbook odds are often more readily available and may move more quickly in response to breaking news. Discrepancies can arise due to differing levels of information, biases, or simply variations in market participants. Itβs helpful to compare both to gain a comprehensive understanding of potential outcomes.
Polymarket and Predict can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Prices on Polymarket and Predict may differ due to variations in trader demographics, market design, and liquidity. Polymarket currently favors Will Manchester City FC win on 2026-11-04? at 62.5%, while Predict leans toward Will Manchester City FC win on 2026-11-04? at 63.0%. These platforms attract different user bases with varying risk appetites and information sets, leading to differing opinions reflected in the odds. Furthermore, the specific rules and fee structures of each platform can influence trading behavior and price discovery. This creates opportunities for arbitrage, but also explains why discrepancies can persist.
