All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and incorporate a profit margin, while this market allows bettors to directly express their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook’s odds are inaccurate, the prediction market will likely move in the opposite direction. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when there’s strong public sentiment or new information emerges that isn't fully priced into sportsbook lines. Comparing the two can offer valuable insights for informed decision-making.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores in the Rayo Vallecano vs. Celta match, and the price of each share reflects the market’s probability assessment of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price fluctuates based on supply and demand; if more people buy shares of a particular score, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the Rayo Vallecano vs. Celta match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning shares. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered. The resolution will be based on official sources and widely accepted sports data providers, ensuring a fair and transparent outcome for all traders. The final score will be the definitive factor in determining which shares pay out.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Rayo Vallecano or Celta would likely cause shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations or tactical approaches announced before the match could also influence trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, such as heavy rain or strong winds, might affect the expected style of play and therefore the perceived probability of different scores. Even public comments from coaches or key players could introduce new information and drive price movements in this market.
