This market refers to the cricket match between Uttar Pradesh and Goa scheduled for October 18 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of its shares will climb, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence regarding the Ranji Trophy match.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Ranji Trophy match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result declared by the tournament organizers. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the outcome is definitively established and reported. The market will close prior to the official result to prevent any manipulation or influence from late-breaking information.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team composition, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could all lead to shifts in the odds. Unexpected performance in earlier matches of the tournament, or even pre-match analysis from cricket experts, could also sway trader sentiment. Furthermore, significant betting activity itself can create momentum and drive price movements, as traders react to each other's actions and new information becomes available.
