This event group covers the Ranji Trophy cricket match between Tamil Nadu and Railways scheduled for October 26, 2026. Markets exist on Tamil Nadu winning, Railways winning, and the match ending in a draw. Resolution relies on official match statistics.
This market refers to the cricket match between Tamil Nadu and Railways scheduled for October 26 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The market resolves based on the official result declared by the governing body of the relevant cricket competition. If Tamil Nadu wins, the 'Tamil Nadu' market resolves Yes. If Railways wins, the 'Railways' market resolves Yes. If the match ends in a draw or tie, the 'Draw/Tie' market resolves Yes. If the match is cancelled before commencement or abandoned before the toss with no official result, all markets resolve to a fair market price. If the match is delayed beyond five days from its original start time, all markets also resolve to a fair price. If the match is abandoned after the toss, resolution follows the official result recorded by the governing body.
Prediction market odds, like those displayed for this market, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives of participants. Sportsbooks aim to set lines that balance action on both sides and ensure a profit margin, while prediction market traders are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets reflecting a more accurate probability assessment, especially as more information becomes available. However, sportsbooks often have higher liquidity and may offer different types of wagers not available in prediction markets. It’s valuable to compare both to gain a comprehensive view.
