The outcome corresponding to Saurashtra will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Saurashtra. The outcome corresponding to Chhattisgarh will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Chhattisgarh. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each outcome – in this case, each player being the top batter. As more shares are purchased for a particular player, the price of those shares increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movements are driven by supply and demand, with traders constantly adjusting their positions based on new information and their own analysis of the match. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds closely reflect the collective forecast of all participants.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the first innings of the Ranji Trophy match between Saurashtra and Chhattisgarh. In the event of a tie, the market will resolve to the 'Draw' outcome. The official match scorecard will serve as the source of truth for determining the top batter, ensuring a transparent and objective resolution process for this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to the team lineups would likely have a significant impact. Weather forecasts predicting rain could also affect the game's dynamics and influence predictions. Furthermore, pre-match analysis from cricket experts, updates on pitch conditions, and even early performance in the first session of play could all contribute to price movements. Unexpected developments during the match itself, such as a particularly strong batting performance from a specific player, could also cause substantial shifts in this market.
