This market refers to the cricket match between Puducherry and Uttar Pradesh scheduled for October 26 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Currently, prediction market odds for this event reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks often set initial lines based on team rankings and historical data, this market allows traders to incorporate a wider range of information, including real-time news, player form, and even subjective factors. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, as prediction markets can sometimes identify mispriced opportunities that sportsbooks haven’t fully accounted for. This difference in approach can lead to varied probabilities for the same outcome.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Ranji Trophy match between Puducherry and Uttar Pradesh, as declared by the governing body of the tournament. The winning team, or a draw if applicable, will determine the settlement of this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final, officially reported result.
Several factors could significantly influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries or changes in team lineups would likely cause price fluctuations. Weather conditions at the match venue are also a key consideration, as they can impact the style of play and potentially favor one team over another. Unexpected announcements related to pitch conditions or referee decisions could also move the market. Finally, any shifts in public sentiment or expert analysis regarding the teams’ chances could drive trading activity and alter the probabilities.
