This market refers to the cricket match between Hyderabad and Punjab scheduled for October 26 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

Currently, prediction market odds often reflect a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin regardless of the outcome. This market, however, is driven purely by trader opinions and allows for more direct probability assessments. While sportsbooks may initially favor one team, the prediction market can quickly adjust based on new information or changing sentiment, potentially offering a more accurate reflection of the true probabilities as perceived by informed participants. It's important to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the result of the Ranji Trophy match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official match result as declared by the governing body of the Ranji Trophy. This includes determining whether the match ended in a draw, or if either Hyderabad or Punjab secured a victory. The platform will verify the outcome against established sources to ensure accuracy and transparency for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue, key player injuries or changes in team lineups, or significant shifts in expert analysis regarding team performance could all trigger movement. Any news regarding pitch conditions favoring either batting or bowling could also impact trader sentiment. Furthermore, in-match events, such as early wickets or strong batting performances, will likely cause the probabilities to adjust as the match progresses, reflecting the evolving dynamics of the Ranji Trophy match.
