This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Goa and Baroda scheduled for October 11 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. The outcome corresponding to Goa will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Goa. The outcome corresponding to Baroda will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Baroda. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each player being the top batter. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular player, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The player officially recognized as scoring the most runs in the first innings of the Ranji Trophy match between Goa and Baroda will be considered the winner. The resolution will be based on official match statistics and records, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result. Any potential ties will be handled according to standard cricket scoring rules.
Several factors could significantly influence this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to the playing lineup for either Goa or Baroda would likely cause shifts in the odds. Weather conditions at the match venue could also play a role, as they can impact batting performance. Unexpected announcements about pitch conditions or changes in team strategy could also move the market. Finally, any significant performances by players in recent matches might lead traders to reassess their probabilities.
