This market refers to the cricket match between Delhi and Gujarat scheduled for October 18 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The current price indicates what the market believes is the fair probability of the outcome, based on all available information and the collective judgment of participants.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Gujarat, as declared by the governing body of the tournament. The winning team, or a draw if applicable, will determine the settlement of this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings once the result is officially confirmed and reported.
Several factors could influence the market leading up to the resolution date. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team composition, or weather forecasts impacting playing conditions could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected performance in earlier matches of the tournament, or even pre-match analysis from cricket experts, could also cause traders to reassess their predictions. Furthermore, significant betting activity itself can move the market, as large trades indicate strong conviction in a particular outcome.
