This market refers to which team's player records the highest individual run total in the cricket match between Assam and Tripura scheduled for October 18 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. The outcome corresponding to Assam will be considered correct if the highest individual score in the match is recorded exclusively by a player from Assam. The outcome corresponding to Tripura will be considered correct if the highest individual score is recorded exclusively by a player from Tripura. If the highest individual score is shared by at least one player from each team, the market will resolve to Draw. The market will resolve according to which team's player records the highest individual run total regardless of if the match is not competed (e.g. Due to weather conditions). DLS/DRS adjustments and any other on-field rulings affecting batting statistics are treated as ordinary data. If the match is permanently canceled, abandoned, or otherwise completed without official batting statistics being recorded, the market will resolve Draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed and official statistics are available.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. This is because prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd, allowing traders to weigh various factors – form, pitch conditions, and team news – to arrive at their own probabilities. While sportsbooks typically set odds based on models and expert opinions, this market reflects a broader range of viewpoints. Discrepancies can emerge if the market perceives information differently than the sportsbook, potentially offering value to informed bettors.
This market resolves around Oct 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which player scores the most runs in the first innings of the Ranji Trophy match between Assam and Tripura. In the event of a tie, the market may have a specific resolution rule defined by Polymarket to determine a winner. Traders should review the platform's documentation for full details on how the outcome will be verified.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding player injuries or changes to the batting lineup for either Assam or Tripura would likely have a significant impact. Weather forecasts predicting unfavorable conditions for batting could also alter perceptions of which players are most likely to succeed. Finally, updates on pitch conditions – whether it favors seam or spin – could sway traders' opinions and lead to increased volume and price movement in this market.
