This market refers to the cricket match between Andhra and Karnataka scheduled for October 11 2026 at 12:00 AM ET in Ranji Trophy. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and the playing conditions provide an on-field tiebreak (e.g., Super Over), the winner determined by that tiebreak will be used for resolution. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve to draw. If the match is postponed or rescheduled, the market will remain open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market will resolve to draw. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and express their views, the market price dynamically adjusts to reflect the aggregated prediction. Currently, the market indicates a strong likelihood of one team winning, as evidenced by the prevailing odds. The volume traded provides insight into the level of conviction behind these predictions.
This market resolves around Oct 18, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Ranji Trophy match between Andhra and Karnataka, as declared by the governing body of the tournament. The winning team, or a draw if applicable, will determine the outcome of this market. Traders will be able to claim their winnings based on the final, officially reported result of the match.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Key player injuries or unexpected team selections could significantly alter perceptions of each team's chances. Weather conditions during the match, particularly if they favor one team's playing style, could also be a catalyst for movement. Any news regarding team morale, strategic changes, or pitch conditions could also impact trader behavior and lead to adjustments in the probabilities reflected in this market. Significant shifts in public opinion, even outside of direct match-related news, could also play a role.
