This market refers to the Rainbow Six Siege Lower bracket semifinal match between Geekay Esports and Virtus.pro in the Europe MENA League Stage 2 Playoffs, initially scheduled for October 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "Geekay Esports" if Geekay Esports win the match against Virtus.pro. This market will resolve to "Virtus.pro" if Virtus.pro win the match against Geekay Esports. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before October 26, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of October 12, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/rainbowsix/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different kind of wisdom than sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often incorporate margins for profit and may be influenced by promotional considerations, while this market represents the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the result. If sportsbook odds significantly differ from those seen on Polymarket, it could indicate disagreement about the relative strengths of the teams or differing interpretations of recent performance. It’s important to note that prediction markets often converge towards a more accurate probability as the event approaches.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders who believe a particular team will win, the higher the price of shares representing that team’s victory will climb. This dynamic pricing reflects the evolving expectations of the crowd and provides a real-time assessment of the matchup’s potential results.
This market resolves around Oct 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Rainbow Six Siege Europe MENA League Stage 2 Playoffs best-of-three series between Geekay Esports and Virtus.pro. The winning team, as determined by the official league standings and broadcast results, will dictate the settlement of this market. Any potential disputes will be evaluated based on publicly available and widely accepted sources of truth.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or even roster changes could shift trader sentiment. Major upsets in other matches within the league could also impact perceptions of team strength. In-game performance during the series itself, such as dominant map wins or individual player highlights, will likely cause significant price fluctuations. Any announcements regarding potential delays or alterations to the match schedule could also introduce volatility into this market.
