Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market represents the collective belief of traders. If a significant number of people believe Racing Santander has a higher chance of winning by two or more goals than sportsbooks suggest, the price will move accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional sportsbooks, especially as the event draws closer and more information becomes available.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders adjust their bids and asks based on their own analysis, news, and sentiment, leading to a dynamic price discovery process. The more traders who believe Racing Santander will win by two or more goals, the higher the price of the 'yes' contract will climb, and vice-versa.

This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Racing Santander versus Real Madrid match, specifically whether Racing Santander won the match by a margin of two or more goals. The final score will be the determining factor, and the result will be sourced from official league data and widely available sports news outlets.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Racing Santander or Real Madrid would likely have a significant impact. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also shift trader sentiment. Unexpected news about team morale or managerial decisions could also move the market. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of Racing Santander winning by two or more goals will cause the price to fluctuate.
