Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the outcome. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when public sentiment strongly favors one result. Examining these differences can highlight where the crowd believes sportsbooks might be mispricing the probability of an event happening.
