In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Racing Club de Lens and Olympique Lyonnais, scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Racing Club de Lens vs. Olympique Lyonnais match originally scheduled for October 9, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the most likely exact score. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early on, as prediction markets can incorporate information and analysis from a wider range of sources than a typical sportsbook. However, as the event approaches, the odds on this market and those offered by sportsbooks tend to converge.
On Predict, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible exact score. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the collective belief of the traders. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts for a particular score, its price increases, and the implied probability of that outcome rises. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price and reduces the implied probability. This dynamic process ensures that the market price reflects the most up-to-date information and expectations.
This market resolves around Oct 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final score of the Racing Club de Lens versus Olympique Lyonnais match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score at the end of regulation time will determine the winning contract. Any extra time or penalty shootouts will not be considered for resolution. The outcome will be based on official match data and verified against reliable sources to ensure accuracy and fairness for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the trading activity in this market. News regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Lens or Lyon would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments, or even weather conditions could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team lineups closer to the match could also lead to price movements. Furthermore, any significant public discussion or analysis predicting a specific scoreline could influence the volume and direction of trading in this market.
