In the upcoming Ligue 1 game between Racing Club de Lens and Olympique de Marseille, scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the halftime score of the Racing Club de Lens vs. Olympique de Marseille match originally scheduled for November 8, 2026 at 2:45 PM ET, considering only goals scored within the first 45 minutes of regular play plus first-half stoppage time; second-half goals, extra time, and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual halftime score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor names, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences in a team's or player's name will not affect resolution, provided the intended team or player can be clearly and uniquely identified as a participant in the listed fixture or competition. If a listed name has no reasonable connection to any participant, or could reasonably refer to more than one participant such that the intended team or player cannot be determined, this market will resolve as it would if the listed fixture had been canceled entirely; a listed participant who cannot be identified does not count as inactive or absent. The primary resolution source for this market will be official match information from Ligue 1 (https://www.ligue1.com/). If the governing body or event organizers have not published final statistics within 2 hours of the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and insights. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it may indicate that the market believes a sportsbook has mispriced a particular outcome. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of the same event occurring, and differences can arise due to varying information and risk assessments.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different first-half exact scores, and the price of each share reflects the market’s collective belief about the probability of that score occurring. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect new information and changing sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand – if many traders believe a particular score is likely, they will buy shares, driving up the price, and vice versa.
This market resolves around Nov 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score at the end of the first half of the Racing Club de Lens versus Olympique de Marseille match will determine the winning share(s). The resolution will be based on the official result as reported by a trusted sports data provider, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants in this market.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either Lens or Marseille would likely cause significant shifts. Changes in team form, tactical adjustments announced by the managers, or even weather conditions on match day could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected lineup announcements shortly before kickoff are also likely to move this market, as traders react to the potential impact on the game's outcome.
