Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, aims to represent the true probability of each outcome, though discrepancies can emerge due to differing information or risk assessments. It’s common to see prediction markets offer more favorable odds, especially for less probable outcomes, as there’s no inherent need to build in a profit margin like a sportsbook.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. As more shares are purchased for a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. Conversely, selling shares lowers the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, allowing traders to express their views and profit if their predictions prove accurate. The current top outcome, Exact Score: Querétaro FC 1 - 1 Club Puebla?, has a chance percentage of 50.0%.
This market resolves around Nov 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the Querétaro FC versus Club Puebla match will be used to determine the winning outcome. Any official result published by a recognized sporting authority will serve as the basis for resolution. The market will settle to 100% probability for the correct exact score, and 0% for all other outcomes. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive a payout based on the final market price.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, suspensions, or changes in team lineups for either Querétaro FC or Club Puebla would likely cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected weather conditions at the match venue could also play a role. Furthermore, significant changes in public sentiment, perhaps driven by expert analysis or pre-game commentary, could impact trader behavior and move the market. Finally, large volume trades by individual participants could temporarily influence prices, though the market typically self-corrects over time.
