Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and need to account for profit margins. This market, however, is driven by traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. If a significant discrepancy emerges between prediction market probabilities and those offered by sportsbooks, arbitrage opportunities may arise, potentially causing the odds to converge. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds over time, especially when there's substantial public interest.
