Traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score, and the price of each share reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective belief. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand; if many traders believe a particular score is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa.
