This market determines which quarterback will achieve the highest fantasy points in a specific week of the NFL season using a full-point-per-reception scoring system. The scoring includes points from passing, rushing, receiving, and special teams performance, with specific values assigned to yards, touchdowns, interceptions, and other statistical categories.
Each market resolves to 'Yes' if the specified quarterback finishes highest in total full-PPR fantasy points for all quarterbacks in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL regular season, as calculated by Sleeper's scoring system. Points are awarded based on passing, rushing, and receiving statistics, including passing yards (0.04 points per yard), passing touchdowns (4 points), interceptions (-1 point), rushing yards (0.1 points per yard), rushing touchdowns (6 points), receptions (1 point), receiving yards (0.1 points per yard), and receiving touchdowns (6 points). Special teams contributions include field goals (3–6 points depending on distance), extra points (1 point), and various defensive and special teams actions such as sacks, interceptions, fumble recoveries, and touchdowns. If a player does not participate in the week, they receive zero points. In case of a tie for the highest score among quarterbacks, the market resolves to 1/N, where N is the number of tied players, and no holder receives the full $1 payout—only the prorated share based on the tied outcome.
Generally, prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamic nature of trading activity. It’s common to see this market move independently of sportsbook lines, especially as new information emerges or as the event draws closer. Analyzing both can provide a more comprehensive view of potential outcomes.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief in a particular quarterback leading in fantasy points. The price of each contract fluctuates based on supply and demand. As more people buy contracts for a specific quarterback, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability of that outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations as the event approaches, reflecting the collective intelligence of the traders participating in the NFL Week 4 QB market.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the quarterback who accumulates the most fantasy points during NFL Week 4, according to standard fantasy football scoring rules. The official fantasy point totals from a widely recognized fantasy sports provider will be used to determine the winning quarterback. Traders will be able to see the final results and settlement details on Kalshi following the completion of all Week 4 games.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Injury reports are a major catalyst; news of a key quarterback being injured or questionable for Week 4 would likely cause substantial shifts in the odds. Unexpected changes in team matchups, such as a favorable or unfavorable defensive opponent, could also influence trader sentiment. Additionally, late-breaking news regarding player performance or coaching decisions can all contribute to price fluctuations. Monitoring these signals and staying informed about NFL developments is crucial for understanding potential movements in this market.
