On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring; a share priced at 60 means there's a 60% chance of that outcome, according to the market. This creates a dynamic and responsive pricing system, driven entirely by trader activity and information.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Prus vs. Ponomarenko match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will verify the result against these sources to determine which outcome is the winner. Traders who hold shares in the winning outcome will be paid out according to the final share price at resolution, while those holding shares in the losing outcome will forfeit their investment.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in playing conditions, or significant performance updates for either Prus or Ponomarenko could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategies or coaching decisions might also play a role. Furthermore, general shifts in public opinion or analysis from sports commentators could impact trading activity, leading to price fluctuations.
