Often, prediction market odds reflect a ‘wisdom of the crowd’ perspective, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven purely by traders expressing their beliefs. If a significant discrepancy exists, it might indicate that the market perceives information differently than the sportsbook, or that one venue has access to unique insights. It’s valuable to compare the two to gain a broader understanding of potential outcomes and assess where value might lie.
