Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting biases or promotional offers, while this market relies on individuals directly expressing their beliefs about the most likely outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially early in the market, as prediction markets can sometimes identify mispricings more quickly. Mid-season trades could introduce new players into the mix or shift team dynamics. Unexpected changes in offensive schemes or coaching strategies could also affect a player’s touchdown potential. Finally, any news regarding player health, team strategy, or performance will likely cause fluctuations in the market on Polymarket.
