If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the team with more total offensive yards (rushing yards plus passing yards) in Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 8 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
All markets resolve based on whether the named team finishes with the highest points total in Week 8 of the 2026-27 Pro Football regular season. If the team achieves this outcome, the respective 'Yes' market resolves positively. When multiple teams tie for the highest score, all 'Yes' positions pay a reduced dividend of $1 divided by the number of tied teams (rounded down to the nearest cent), while 'No' positions pay the complement to this amount. This tied-score adjustment applies uniformly across all individual team markets, ensuring consistent resolution mechanics regardless of which team(s) are involved in the tie. The governing league's official scoring records determine all outcomes.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by the collective forecasts of many individuals. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public opinion diverges from expert analysis. Generally, prediction markets tend to be more accurate than traditional forecasts, though the 5.0 between the two can vary significantly depending on the event and available information. Both offer valuable insights for informed decision-making.
