Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant difference emerges between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise, as traders attempt to profit from the discrepancy. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and neither is guaranteed to be accurate; they simply reflect different approaches to assessing the likelihood of an outcome.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment. The market’s price is driven entirely by supply and demand, with traders expressing their views through their trading activity. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to evolving expectations.

This market resolves around Nov 9, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
