Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market relies on individuals freely buying and selling contracts based on their beliefs. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying interpretations of the same data. It's common to see this market and sportsbook odds converge closer to the event start time as more information becomes available and opinions solidify.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of a contract reflects the market’s probability of that outcome occurring; a higher price indicates a greater perceived chance. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are incentivized to offer accurate predictions, as profitable trades depend on correctly assessing the likelihood of each result. The current top outcome, according to Kalshi, is a Tie in the 1st half, though the chance percentage is not currently available.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Unexpected announcements about player availability or strategic changes could lead to rapid adjustments in the odds, as traders react to new information and reassess the probabilities of each outcome.
