Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a distinct perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, designed to ensure profitability, while Polymarket allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of different outcomes. This can lead to differences in implied probabilities. If a significant number of informed bettors believe a sportsbook is mispricing an outcome, this market may reflect that disagreement. It's valuable to compare the two to identify potential discrepancies and inform your own assessment of the event.

This market resolves around Oct 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results of the PPA Women's Singles match, as declared by the tournament organizers. The player who wins the match will be considered the winning outcome for this market. The platform will utilize publicly available and verifiable information to determine the winner and settle the market accordingly.
