Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market represents the collective belief of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to note that prediction markets often incorporate information more quickly than sportsbooks, especially regarding factors not traditionally considered in point spreads or over/unders.
