On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants.

Several factors could influence the movement of this market. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in team strategy, or unexpected performance in preceding matches could shift trader sentiment. Updates on weather conditions, which might affect the playing surface, could also play a role. Furthermore, significant betting activity—a large influx of volume on one outcome—could quickly alter the odds. Overall, any information that changes perceptions of the teams’ chances of winning has the potential to move this market.
