Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, incorporating a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform traditional odds, particularly as the event approaches and more information surfaces.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's collective probability assessment of that outcome. As more traders participate, the prices converge to a point representing the aggregated belief. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current volume of trading is $44,315, indicating the level of interest in this particular event. This dynamic pricing allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment.
