This group forecasts the outcome of a single EFL Championship soccer match between Portsmouth FC and Swansea City AFC on November 3, 2026. Markets exist for Portsmouth winning, Swansea winning, and the game ending in a draw.
This event is for the upcoming EFL Championship game, scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2026 between Portsmouth FC and Swansea City AFC.
The markets resolve based on the official result of the Portsmouth vs Swansea EFL Championship soccer match scheduled for November 3, 2026, after the full 90 minutes of play plus any stoppage time, excluding extra time or penalty shootouts. A 'Yes' outcome for either Portsmouth or Swansea markets occurs only if that specific team wins the match within regulation time. The 'Tie' market resolves to 'Yes' if the game concludes with an equal score after regulation. Should the match be cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined per the platform's guidelines. Kalshi explicitly states it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for November 3, 2026, 19:45 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially offering a more accurate forecast than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit, while this market incentivizes participants to express their true beliefs. This can lead to differences, as prediction markets are less susceptible to biases inherent in sportsbook modeling. However, arbitrage opportunities can emerge, causing convergence between prediction market prices and sportsbook odds as traders exploit discrepancies in this market.
Prices for the Portsmouth vs. Swansea match may differ between Polymarket and Kalshi due to variations in user base, trading activity, and market design. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different types of traders with varying levels of expertise and information, which can influence price discovery. Furthermore, the liquidity and volume on each platform can affect price volatility and spread. Currently, Polymarket favors Will Swansea City AFC win on 2026-11-03? at 36.5%, while Kalshi leans toward Portsmouth wins at 36.0%, reflecting these differing dynamics.
