In the upcoming Liga Portugal 2 game between Portimonense SAD and SCU Torreense, scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Portimonense SAD vs. SCU Torreense match originally scheduled for October 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, which can differ from sportsbook odds that are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting patterns and risk management into their pricing, while this market relies on individuals directly predicting the exact score. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when there's strong disagreement or uncertainty surrounding the event. Comparing the two can offer a broader perspective on the potential outcome and highlight areas where the crowd diverges from expert opinion.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores. The price of each share reflects the market's implied probability of that score occurring. As more traders buy shares of a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts to new information and changing sentiment, providing a real-time assessment of the likely result. This creates a fluid and responsive pricing system driven by supply and demand.
This market resolves around Oct 31, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
