On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the collective wisdom of the traders on the platform. This creates a dynamic and responsive market that adjusts to new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 11, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Ponomarenko vs. Tsoi match as reported by recognized sports authorities. The platform will then determine the winning outcome and distribute payouts to those who correctly predicted the result. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand how this market will be settled.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before Oct 11, 2026. Any news regarding the condition of either player, such as injuries or illness, would likely cause significant shifts in the odds.
