On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. The price of a share directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information emerges, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market’s liquidity, indicated by the trading volume, also influences price discovery and the reliability of the implied probabilities.
Several signals could significantly impact this market. Major developments in the campaigns of the candidates, such as policy announcements or debate performances, are likely to cause shifts in probabilities. Unexpected endorsements from influential figures or changes in public opinion polls could also move the market. Furthermore, any significant political events or controversies involving either candidate could lead to substantial price adjustments. The market will react to any new information that alters perceptions of the likely winner of the Czech presidential election.
