Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to profit from margins, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing the probability of a particular outcome in the Pohorilyi vs. Sideltsev match, they can take a position in this market, driving the odds closer to their collective assessment. This dynamic can lead to prediction market odds being more accurate than sportsbook odds, or at least offering a different perspective on the event’s likelihood.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome of the Pohorilyi vs. Sideltsev match. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand, reflecting the aggregated predictions of all participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds constantly adjust to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Pohorilyi vs. Sideltsev match, as reported by recognized sports authorities.
