Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance their risk, incorporating a margin for profit, while this market allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the likelihood of each exact score. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public sentiment shifts before the match.
This market resolves around Oct 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Several factors could influence trading activity and shift the odds in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in coaching staff could significantly impact perceived probabilities. Pre-match analysis from sports analysts, unexpected weather conditions, or even shifts in public sentiment based on social media discussions could also drive trading volume and price adjustments. Major events like a key player being ruled out of the match or a surprising tactical announcement from either team are likely to cause movement in this market.
